Restaurant General Manager

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant General Manager to lead the opening and operations of a premium dining concept making its Chicago debut .

This is a unique opportunity to play a key leadership role in launching a new restaurant and building a high-performing team from the ground up. The Restaurant General Manager will oversee both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and strong financial performance.

Experience in upscale or fine-dining restaurants is strongly preferred.

• Lead the restaurant opening and operational launch , supporting recruitment, training, and operational setup

• Oversee and coordinate daily restaurant operations , ensuring smooth collaboration between FOH and BOH teams

• Lead, train, and mentor the team, fostering a culture of hospitality, professionalism, and accountability

• Ensure the highest standards of guest service, food quality, and brand experience

• Monitor and manage labor costs, food and beverage costs, and operational efficiency to maximize profitability

• Manage inventory, purchasing, and supplier relationships

• Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and sanitation regulations

• Develop and manage the restaurant’s budget and financial performance

• Collaborate with corporate and marketing teams to support local promotions, events, and brand positioning

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field

• 3–5+ years of progressive management experience in restaurants

• Experience in leadership roles such as:

• Restaurant Manager
• General Manager

• Strong understanding of P&L management, budgeting, and cost control

• Proven ability to lead and develop restaurant teams

• Experience with POS systems and reservation platforms

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Advanced English required
• Spanish is a plus
