Shift: 4 x 10-Hour Day Shifts | 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Weekends: Every other weekend | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

About the Role

MedOp Solutions is partnering with a medical center in Aurora, Illinois to hire an experienced CT Technologist for a 3-month contract assignment.

This role is ideal for a CT Tech with strong clinical experience who is comfortable working extended shifts and participating in regular on-call coverage. The technologist will support a busy imaging department and play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
• Prepare and position patients for CT exams, ensuring comfort and accuracy
• Administer contrast media as required and monitor patients for adverse reactions
• Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure optimal image quality
• Accurately document procedures and patient information in the electronic medical record
• Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and departmental policies
• Participate in required on-call coverage

Qualifications

• Active CT Technologist certification/licensure required
• BLS certification required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Prior CT Technologist experience preferred
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting

On-Call Requirements

• On-call coverage required for overnights and weekends
• On-call frequency: approximately 2–3 times per week
