Your Responsibilities
As a Sr. Administrative Assistant for John Deere in Moline, IL, you will...
- Create and maintain records, provision to onboard new employees, correspondence, calendars, Travel Expense Reports and confidential information for the Vice President and Directors within Construction & Forestry (C&F) Sales and Marketing
- Schedule meetings, coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements (including visas and passports) for the C&F Vice President and Directors of Sales & Marketing team
- Create and process purchase orders in the common purchasing system (SAP)
- Provide on-site support and access for various consultants and serve as a point of contact for visitors, process information flow and communication responses for certain inquiries on behalf of C&F Sales & Marketing
- Research, resolve and respond to inquiries/concerns from internal and/or external customers; escalate complex issues for resolution, as appropriate

What Skills You Need
- 2 or more years of experience as an Administrative Assistant
- Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills
- Superior interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multi- task and prioritize multiple projects while initiating action and managing an office without frequent or detailed work instruction
- Ability to work with high levels of management
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Project management skills
- 2 or more years of experience in using Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to utilize electronic tools such as purchase order systems, video conferencing, Microsoft Teams and Travel & Expense reporting systems
- Ability to travel up to 25% based on business needs
What Makes You Stand Out
- Previous experience in an administrative role supporting Executive- level personnel
- Experience in presentations, communications and marketing
- Ability to flex working hours, as needed, with minimal notice
Education
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related work experience
