General Production Worker

We are seeking a 1st Shift Industrial Painter with experience in powder coat and/or wet paint applications within a manufacturing setting. The role involves preparing and utilizing a spray gun to paint small to intermediate-sized parts. This is a long-term opportunity in a fabrication environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare parts and equipment for painting.
• Utilize a spray gun to apply paint to small and intermediate-sized parts.
• Measure parts accurately using a tape measure.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure correct painting specifications.

Essential Skills:

• Experience in paint preparation and application using a paint sprayer and paint gun.
• Proficiency in using a tape measure.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints is preferred.

Job Type & Location:

This is a contract to hire position based out of Rockford, IL.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
