Temp - Technologist - MRI
Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform routine and specialized MRI procedures for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients of all ages. Responsibilities include verifying physician orders, preparing and educating patients, adhering to MRI safety standards, administering contrast media, evaluating image quality, assisting radiologists during procedures, and operating and maintaining MRI equipment according to department policies and manufacturer guidelines. Additional duties include performing equipment warm-up, calibration, safety checks, quality control, operating hospital computer systems, reporting equipment malfunctions, and carrying out assigned supervisory functions while maintaining ARRT standards and strong customer service practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of recent GE MRI experience required.
- Active ARRT certification required (AMRIT not accepted).
- BLS certification required.
- Experience performing MRI procedures for patients of all ages.
- Knowledge of MRI safety procedures, contrast administration, and technical positioning protocols.
- Ability to evaluate MRI image quality and maintain equipment standards.
- Strong communication and customer service skills required.
