Location: This is a full-time on-site opportunity based in Geneva, Illinois, where you'll work closely with attorneys and a dedicated legal team in a collaborative office environment.

Note: Applicants must have at least 2 years of personal injury law experience. Experience supporting either plaintiff or defense personal injury litigation is welcomed.

Job Description

  • Support attorneys throughout the personal injury litigation process.
  • Draft, review, and organize pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and legal documents.
  • Manage case files and maintain litigation deadlines.
  • Obtain and organize medical records, billing records, and supporting evidence.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, medical providers, insurance carriers, experts, and opposing counsel.
  • Prepare deposition, mediation, arbitration, and trial materials.
  • Coordinate case scheduling and attorney calendars.
  • Assist with settlement documentation and case resolution.
  • Maintain accurate case management records while ensuring deadlines are met.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of personal injury paralegal experience.
  • Experience supporting personal injury litigation matters.
  • Strong organizational and document management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple active files simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail and strong follow-through.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
