As part of our ambitious North American expansion, we are seeking a Head of Alliances, North America to elevate our partnership strategy from tactical execution to strategic leadership. With bold revenue targets and the need to establish Vaimo as a serious contender against established players, this role will be pivotal in shaping our market presence.
Role Overview
The Head of Alliances, North America will be responsible for building and executing a strategic alliances program that drives substantial revenue growth and strengthens Vaimo’s credibility in the digital commerce ecosystem. This senior role requires an alliance professional with immediate credibility, a proven methodology, and an existing network of high-value relationships.
Reporting directly to the ELT and collaborating closely with the North America leadership team, you will focus on strengthening current partnerships (Adobe, CommerceTools, Contentful, Akeneo, Shopify, etc.), building scalable processes, and positioning Vaimo as the partner of choice across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Alliance Leadership
- Define and execute a comprehensive North American alliances strategy aligned with aggressive revenue goals.
- Strengthen current partnerships with Adobe, CommerceTools, Contentful, Akeneo, Shopify, and others.
- Build and maintain C-level relationships with strategic partners.
- Negotiate and structure partnership agreements that deliver measurable business value.
- Position Vaimo as a premier partner through thought leadership and demonstrated results.
Revenue-Driven Growth
- Deliver a minimum of 30% of US revenue target through partnerships .
- Maximize current pipeline potential by strengthening existing relationships before pursuing new ones.
- Build scalable lead-generation and deal-registration processes with partners.
- Drive joint go-to-market strategies to accelerate sales cycles and increase deal values.
Market Credibility & Positioning
- Secure premier partner status and enhanced co-marketing opportunities with key platforms.
- Partner with Marketing to deliver joint case studies, announcements, and industry thought leadership.
- Represent Vaimo in industry forums, speaking engagements, and partner-driven events.
Cross-Regional Collaboration
- Collaborate with European alliance teams to strengthen global partnerships and align best practices.
- Coordinate with European events and marketing teams for shared service efficiency.
- Build scalable, repeatable processes that support partnerships across all markets.
Internal Enablement & Team Development
- Build partner enablement programs and internal training initiatives.
- Develop playbooks and methodologies for consistent partnership execution.
- Strengthen internal capabilities and align teams on partnership-driven revenue growth.

Qualifications & Experience
Essential Requirements
- 8+ years of senior alliance management experience in digital commerce, digital customer experience, or professional services.
- Proven track record of strengthening and growing strategic technology partnerships.
- Established relationships with key platforms—Adobe, CommerceTools, Contentful, Akeneo, Shopify, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale partnerships delivering $10M+ annual revenue .
- Executive presence with experience engaging C-level stakeholders and partner executives.
- Strong strategic mindset with proven success in co-developing go-to-market strategies.
- Experience defining and optimizing KPIs for partnership programs.
Preferred Experience
- Background at consulting firms, systems integrators, or technology vendors.
- Proven success in securing Premier/Gold partner status with major technology partners.
- Experience building and mentoring partnership-focused teams.
Success Metrics (First 12 Months)
- Generate $5M+ in qualified partner-sourced pipeline .
- Achieve Premier/Gold partner status with 2+ major technology platforms .
- Grow at least 1 existing strategic partnership with measurable revenue impact .
- Implement scalable partnership processes and enablement frameworks.
- Achieve 90%+ partner satisfaction scores through collaborative joint business plans.
