Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support elementary school students in Joliet, IL. This position is initially covering a maternity leave with strong potential to extend for the full school year, providing continuity and stability for students and staff.

Responsibilities include conducting individualized occupational therapy assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating closely with educators and families to support student progress. The therapist will work directly with children to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and other functional abilities essential for academic success.

Key qualifications and experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with school-based experience preferred
• Ability to design and deliver therapy services tailored to elementary-aged children
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with school documentation and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
