Pay: $95,000 - $110,000 / year + Profit-Sharing Bonuses

Your Role: Strategic Leadership & Department Ownership
In this role, you aren’t just fixing machines—you own the department. You will blend hands-on technical expertise with strategic team management to keep our Franklin Park facility running at peak performance.
- Team Leadership: Manage, schedule, and mentor a small, dedicated team of 4 skilled Maintenance Technicians (3 on 1st shift, 1 on 2nd shift).
- Operational Excellence: Oversee and optimize preventive maintenance (PM) programs for modern, high-scale metals processing equipment.
- Advanced Troubleshooting: Guide your team through complex mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC diagnostics.
- Project & Vendor Management: Scope out facilities projects, write work orders, and manage specialized external contractors.
- Inventory & Logistics: Control the spare parts inventory, source materials from local vendors, and minimize production downtime.
- Safety Culture: Champion strict OSHA compliance, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and facility safety standard operating procedures (SOPs).

- Experience: 3+ years of maintenance supervisory or management experience (metals manufacturing, heavy industrial, or coil coating environments is a massive plus).
- Technical Edge: Strong hands-on experience in industrial electrical systems, controls, and PLCs.
- Schematics: Ability to easily read and interpret complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical layouts.
- Safety First: Deep knowledge of OSHA regulations, hazard communication, and workplace safety protocols.
- Daily Execution: Strong organizational and computer skills to manage modern work order and inventory tracking software.
- Logistics: Valid driver’s license and the physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs as required during active floor operations.
