Order Picker / Warehouse Associate

Summary of Position:

ProCraft Cabinetry Chicago is looking for an energetic Order Picker/Warehouse Associate to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of products. Associates will operate warehouse equipment to build and send appropriate orders. An order picker must always be on time and ready to work. Order Pickers are able to “pick up” on small details. Candidates must have experience in operating a stand-up forklift.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and check incoming pick tickets.
• Locate products using technology.
• Retrieve orders according to quantity, size, etc. ensuring accuracy.
• Build pallets with orders and position them on loading docks.
• Wrap orders before loading on trucks.
• Re-stock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment.
• Keep records of completed orders.
• Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards.

Skills:

• Proven experience as an order picker or other warehouse position.
• Experience or license in handling forklifts, pallets jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Great attention to detail.
• Diligent and punctual.
• Good physical strength and stamina.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Dual Language is preferred (Spanish)

Compensation : $16.00 per hour (Hourly, Non-Exempt).

Work Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. (We offer Overtime from 6:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., plus Saturday 6:00 A.M. to Noon).

Work Location : 1035 S Frontage Rd, Darien, IL 60561.
