Technical Consultant (Salesforce)

(Mygo Consulting Inc. has an opening in Naperville, IL) Technical Consultant (Salesforce): Design and implement scalable and secure Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements, using best practices and design patterns. Customize and configure Salesforce CRM platforms, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud and Experience Cloud, based on user requirements. Develop Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) to extend Salesforce functionality and automate business processes. Lead the end-to-end application architecture and integration strategy, including middleware and third-party APIs. Conduct technical assessments and gap analyses to identify improvement opportunities in existing Salesforce implementations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, business analysts, and developers to deliver robust Salesforce applications. Design and manage data models and database objects, ensuring high data quality, security, and performance. Create and manage complex workflows, process builders, approval processes, and validation rules within Salesforce. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and version control for Salesforce development using tools like VS Code, Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps. Develop and enforce Salesforce coding standards and technical documentation for maintainability and knowledge transfer. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and administrators within the Salesforce team. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, implementing optimization strategies where needed. Perform regular system upgrades, patching, and environment refreshes to maintain platform health and compliance. Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solution quality and business alignment. Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and industry trends, and provide strategic recommendations to stakeholders. Will work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Requires Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or related and 5 years experience. Employer will accept a combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or related. 5 years must include experience with Salesforce. $153,317.00 per year.
