Description
Minimum qualifications:
· 3+ years of Talent Acquisition experience
*·* Up to 40% travel (primarily within the Houston, Texas area)
· Experience sourcing candidates using platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter
· Experience with high-volume recruiting
· Experience managing multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously
· Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, Excel, Word, etc.)
Preferred qualifications:
*·* Experience with Workday and/or Phenom recruiting systems
*·* Background in the airline or aviation industry
*·* Experience interviewing candidates
About the job:
Join United Airlines as a Senior Recruiter, where you'll leverage deep expertise in recruitment and a strong understanding of related HR practices to address complex staffing needs across Tech Ops, Airport Operations, and Contact Centers. In this role, you will independently source, screen, and interview candidates for a wide range of roles, and may lead key hiring initiatives or programs. You will serve as a mentor and resource for less experienced recruiters, while ensuring recruitment records and EEO compliance are maintained with accuracy and integrity.
Core accountabilities / key responsibilities:
· Partners with hiring managers to establish specific recruitment plans for open positions, consulting with them on the justification and cost of adding/replacing positions.
· Manages complex recruitment activity, and approaches sourcing process creatively using innovative techniques.
· Independently sources and screens/interviews internal and external applicants and advises hiring managers on hiring decisions.
· Partners with hiring managers to develop offers by utilizing expertise in offer construction, delivery, and compensation package design.
· Communicates and explains the terms of employment offer to candidates.
· May require knowledge of union contracts/ongoing negotiations when discussing compensation.
· Aggregates candidate data for the purposes of negotiating with applicants during offer process and assists hiring managers with specifics of offers.
· Ensures integrity and compliance with policies and procedures through the entire talent acquisition process.
Qualifications
The base pay range for this role is $79,800.00 to $103,966.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
