Computed Tomography Technologist - Travel Job

Become a vital part of a Carbondale, IL hospital as an experienced CT Technologist. You will accurately interpret physicians' scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT scan equipment to support patient care in the radiology department.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 years CT technologist experience.
• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with Siemens CT scanners.
• Familiarity with EPIC and Merge PACS systems.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation. Average is approximately one week every fourth week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous hospital CT department experience in a trauma or acute care setting.
• Experience working weekend-focused schedules.

Assignment Details

• Weekend-focused schedule including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 36 hours.
• On-call requirement. Call rotates between staff; averages one week every fourth week.
• Department uses EPIC and Merge PACS systems and Siemens scanners.
• Parking available in the facility garage; recommended to park on the 2nd level or higher.
• Dress code: scrubs.
