Radiologic Technologist

Hourly Pay Range:

$29.68 - $46.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• SIGN-ON BONUS: $5,000

• Position: Radiologic Technologist II - Nights

• Location: Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, IL

• Part Time - 20 hours per week

• Hours: Monday-Friday, 10:30pm - 7:00am, rotating weekends & two holidays per year

• On Call: 2 shifts per month

• Required Travel: No

What you will do:
The Radiologic Technologist II will operate radiology equipment and perform radiographic examinations to provide the clinical team with films, images, or other records to be used for diagnosis and/or treatment. The Radiologic Technologist II will explain radiology procedures to patients, position patients for safe examinations, and help establish the patient's trust to the clinical team.

What you will need:

• Education : High School Diploma or GED. A minimum of an Associate?s Degree or higher, preferred.

• License : IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure

• Certifications : ARRT - Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), required. BLS certification (CPR and AED) from the American Heart Association (AHA), required.

• Experience : 1 Year prior x-ray experience in a surgical environment, required. Knowledge of all current American College of Radiology (ACR)/JCAHO requirements to maintain compliance with all rules and regulations.
