Job Description
As a Lead
Inventory/Materials Specialist, you will take charge of the kitting area within
the warehouse during the 2nd shift. Your role involves leading, coaching, and
training your team, dedicating 50% of your time to leadership and the other 50%
to hands-on inventory tasks.
Responsibilities
· Lead and manage the team, ensuring smooth operation and addressing
absenteeism.
· Spend approximately 70% of your time working on computer systems, 20% on
material movement equipment, and 10% walking within the facility.
· Utilize various systems such as SAP to track inventory and ensure
accuracy.
· Generate and print inventory reports, conduct audits, and ensure physical
and system inventories are synchronized.
· Conduct physical inventory counts and locate missing inventory parts.
· Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure the quality of inventory
control.
Essential Skills
· Proven experience in inventory tracking and data entry.
· Comfortable operating stand-up forklifts and other vehicles in a
warehouse setting.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and order tracking systems.
· At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing facility.
· Ability to work with data entry systems and navigate computer programs
with high aptitude.
· Comfortable working at heights and using safety equipment such as
harnesses.
Additional Skills
& Qualifications
· Previous experience leading teams in a warehouse or manufacturing
environment.
· Experience working with SAP and other ERP systems.
· Prior experience as a 4Q Auditor, in supply chain planning, or as an
Inventory Specialist is beneficial.
· High attention to detail and strong attendance record.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
