Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Molding Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in production, general labor, or material handling, and be comfortable working in a GMP clean room environment. Experience with small parts or inventory is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate molding machines to produce silicone rubber implantable medical device components.
• Perform quality checks and inspections of parts to ensure they meet specified standards.
• Use molds, presses, and equipment effectively and safely.
• Engage in general production tasks, including labeling, assembly, and machine operation.
• Troubleshoot issues with molding machines and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

• 1-3 years of experience in production, general labor, or material handling.
• Comfortable working in a GMP clean room environment.
• Experience with small parts or inventory management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in the medical device industry.
• Familiarity with GMP protocols.
• Ability to use microscopes and small hand tools.
• Experience with molding operations, brake press, or any machine operation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincolnshire, IL.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.95/hr.
