Larry’s is a cozy cocktail bar tucked inside The Lawrence House in Uptown—a neighborhood classic with a speakeasy spirit and a community heartbeat. Position Overview:

We’re looking for a part-time bartender who knows how to handle a shift with grace, speed, and good humor. This is a solo bar setup most nights, so confidence, efficiency, and solid cocktail knowledge are key. You should feel comfortable running the bar end-to-end—opening, closing, mixing, serving, and creating a welcoming vibe for everyone who walks through the door.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Mix and serve cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, cider, and NA beverages to spec
• Know the menu inside and out, including seasonal drinks and specials
• Use Square POS to ring in orders and handle both cash and card transactions
• Check IDs and follow all safe and legal alcohol service procedures
• Keep the bar clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Communicate inventory needs to the team
• Open and close the bar solo, managing your own flow and rhythm
• Perform side work and help keep the space guest-ready at all times

What We’re Looking For:

• 1+ year bartending experience in a cocktail-forward setting
• Strong grasp of classic cocktails, spirit categories, wine varietals, beer styles, and NA offerings
• Confident running a bar solo but also works well as part of a team
• Must be 21+ with valid BASSET certification
• Able to lift and move up to 55 lbs (kegs, cases, etc.)
• Communicates clearly, shows up on time, and brings good energy
• English fluency required; Spanish a plus
