We are seeking a Clinical Manager to join our team and support clinical excellence across our clinics.
The Clinical Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day clinical operations, supporting providers, and ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient, and exceptional patient care. This role focuses on operational consistency, staff development, clinical quality, and adherence to established clinical pathways and regulatory requirements. The Clinical Manager works closely with site leadership, clinical teams, and the Director of Clinical Management to maintain high clinical standards and continuously improve performance.
Responsibilities
Promote quality-focused, clinically appropriate care through audits, coaching, and outcomes-based metrics.
Support Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants with clinical guidance, problem-solving, and workflow optimization.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company clinical standards and protocols.
Identify opportunities for improvement in charting, clinical pathways, patient flow, and overall quality of care.
Mentor and support clinical providers in maintaining high levels of accountability, integrity, and professional growth.
Assist with training and development programs to reinforce clinical standards and support ongoing skill development.
Participate in onboarding for new clinical team members to ensure readiness and alignment with MEC standards.
Partner with Regional Management to ensure Medical Assistants and Radiology Technicians are effectively supporting clinical operations.
Ensure timely communication and execution of company policies and updates with clinical staff.
Serve as a point of escalation for clinical concerns, resolving issues and identifying sustainable solutions.
Provide performance feedback, coaching, and recommendations for hiring and corrective actions as appropriate.
Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality, compliance, and patient care outcomes.
Ensure clinic safety and quality standards are consistently upheld for patients and staff.
Assist with special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Clinical Management.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Active FNP Licensure in Illinois AND at least 3 years of clinical practice experience in urgent care or primary care
Active DOT certification
Experience supervising or mentoring clinical professionals
Strong working knowledge of health codes, compliance requirements, and clinical best practices
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel to assigned sites as needed
