Talent Acquisition Specialist
Road Ranger, a growing multi-state Travel Center company, is seeking to add a Talent Acquisition Specialist to its growing Human Resources Department.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing high-level talent to become future leaders in the Road Ranger Family. Focused primarily on Corporate and Store Management roles, the Talent Acquisition Specialist performs the full life cycle of recruiting for key roles within the company while also providing support to store-level recruiting efforts as needed.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performs the full life cycle of Corporate and Store Management recruiting for open positions, internal promotions, and future needs, which includes partnering with hiring managers to determine needs and criteria, proactively sourcing candidates, determining qualifications, conducting interviews, analyzing responses, verifying references, administering assessments, performing background checks, extending offers, and coordinating orientation
- Helps identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role and the needs of the organization
- Performs recruiting for store hourly staff when needs dictate
- Conducts on-site marketing and open interview events when needs dictate
- Maintains a pool of qualified candidates for future hiring needs
- Administers employee onboarding
- Ensures the complete and accurate filing of all employee documentation
- Provides regular reports on the status of current openings and candidates
- Performs other departmental duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years’ experience in talent acquisition or recruiting required; high volume preferred
- Functional knowledge of the HR laws required
- College education preferred but not required
- Must be outgoing, comfortable spending large amounts of time making phone calls, and possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Professional and ethical with uncompromising morals and integrity
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure prioritize and handle multiple competing tasks and demands simultaneously
- Ability to maintain strict levels of confidentiality
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions under pressure
- Must have the ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and laws related to employment activities and to exercise independent discretionary judgment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person, on the phone, or electronically
- Must possess a high degree of proficiency with a variety of computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, database software
- Ability to travel for Company business
