Machinist
Machinist Job Responsibilities Include
Operate traditional manual milling machine, lathe, saws, and using hand tools
Operate CNC Lathes and Mills
Constantly inspect work-in-progress
Multi-task through various jobs and priorities
Interpret engineering drawings
Machinist follows instructions set for the by machine shop lead man.
Machinist Required Education and Experience
Minimum five (5) years of operating a manual milling machine, lathe, saws, and using hand tools.
Interpret engineering drawings.
Possess solid math skills, including 3D space geometry
Verifiable CNC Training
Minimum 2 years CNC on the job machining experience
Willing to attend CNC classes during personal time
Bilingual – English and Spanish helpful
Must be able to stand for long periods of time; some sitting and bending
