Executive Assistant to CHRO
LaSalle Network is hiring on behalf of a global consulting firm seeking a highly organized, proactive, and polished Executive Assistant to support their Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). This role will serve as a strategic partner to the CHRO, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, optimizing executive productivity, and supporting key people initiatives across a fast-paced, global organization.

Executive Assistant to CHRO Responsibilities:Manage a complex and constantly evolving calendar across multiple time zones
Coordinate internal and external meetings, leadership sessions, board-related meetings, and HR leadership team cadences
Prioritize scheduling requests and anticipate conflicts with strong business judgment
Prepare agendas, briefing materials, presentations, and meeting follow-ups
Manage domestic and international travel arrangements and detailed itineraries
Process expenses accurately and in a timely manner
Partner closely with the CHRO on priorities, deadlines, and key deliverables
Track action items, follow-ups, and strategic initiatives across the HR function
Support annual HR cycles including talent reviews, compensation planning, succession planning, and organizational planning
Coordinate cross-functional meetings with Finance, Legal, Operations, and executive leadership
Assist in planning executive offsites, town halls, leadership summits, and employee events
Draft professional communications on behalf of the CHRO
Handle highly sensitive and confidential employee and business information with discretion
Serve as a trusted liaison between the CHRO and internal/external stakeholders globally
Executive Assistant to CHRO Qualifications:
5+ years of Executive Assistant experience supporting C-level executives, ideally within HR, technology, or public/global companies
Experience supporting Executive-level leaders in fast-paced, high-growth company
Exceptional calendar management and prioritization skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High emotional intelligence, professionalism, and executive presence
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and expense management systems
Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and solve problems proactively
Experience coordinating across global offices and time zones
Compensation: $50-57/hr
Position type: Contract, 4-6 months
Location: Downtown Chicago, hybrid schedule
