Machine Operator

Location: Bolingbrook, IL

Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday-Friday | 2:00PM – 10:00PM

Pay: $18.00 – $19.00 per hour plus Shift Differential

Type: Temp-to-Hire | Excellent Benefits Once Hired

Job Summary

We’re looking for dependable and motivated Machine Operators to join our growing team in the credit card production department. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, have strong computer and machine setup skills, and are looking for a long-term opportunity with room for advancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production machines safely and efficiently

• Set up and adjust machines according to job specifications

• Read and follow production work orders and machine instructions

• Load materials onto machines in the proper sequence

• Monitor machine operations to ensure product quality and consistency

• Perform preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting

• Partner with Quality Assurance to meet product standards

• Enter production data accurately using computer systems

• Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and machine guard protocols

• Participate in ongoing training and process improvement initiatives

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating and setting up production machinery

• Strong computer skills required for data entry and machine interface use

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly

• Comfortable working around machinery in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and follow directions

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English

• Willingness to work overtime as needed
