Job Title: Print Production Specialist
Location: Sycamore, IL
Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00/ hour depending on experience

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Print Production Specialist with experience in signage and graphics production to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate and maintain production equipment, ensure timely and accurate completion of sign projects, and help maintain an organized and safe production workspace. Familiarity with production processes, material handling, and team coordination is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain large format printers, vinyl cutters, plotters, and laminators to produce high-quality signs and graphics.

• Efficiently group projects by material type and prioritize jobs to maximize equipment utilization and meet deadlines.

• Manage daily workflow and update project statuses using Asana or other project management tools.

• Lead and delegate tasks to Production Associates to ensure continuous productivity.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area, including inventory management of vinyl rolls, materials, and supplies.

• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all projects meet exact specifications and company standards.

• Report equipment malfunctions, production delays, and safety hazards to the Production Lead promptly.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and support a culture of workplace safety.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience operating and maintaining production equipment such as large format printers, vinyl cutters, and laminators.

• Strong understanding of signage production workflows and material handling.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Ability to read and interpret production orders and instructions accurately.

• Experience with project management software like Asana preferred.

• Strong leadership skills and ability to delegate tasks effectively.

• Knowledge of workplace safety standards and procedures.

• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and handle materials safely.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Previous experience in signage, graphics production, or manufacturing environment preferred but not required.

• Willingness to learn and develop skills in a fast-paced production setting.

Work Environment

• Production shop setting with exposure to noise, dust, and fumes.

• Physical demands include standing for long periods, lifting materials, and repetitive tasks.
