Warehouse Associate

Description of duties:

  • Move inventory and materials throughout the store/warehouse.
  • Handle delicate and sensitive products with utmost care.
  • Process inventory for deliveries/pickups.
  • Sort, organize, and store inventory in the proper location.
  • Package items and label correctly.
  • Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors.
  • Stack and organize large bulk items.
  • Handle and operate necessary tools and accessories in maintaining and managing a warehouse.
  • Provides data destruction certificates and evidence when needed.
  • Correctly implementing software on devices where data has been wiped.
  • Remove inventory from trucks for shipping and/or delivery.
  • Move materials from storage to pick-up areas or other locations.
  • Ensure the workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards.
  • Keep warehouse premises neat and clean.
  • Work as an active team member to complete team goals.
  • Close pickups in a timely fashion.
  • Update logs and documentation for inventory processing.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining up to date records of inventory.
  • Prepare documentation and inventory for audits.
  • Integrate best practices in handling warehouse materials.
  • Data entry as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Great organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Time management skills.
  • Warehouse experience is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to stand, sit, move, squat, and walk during the course of the shift.
  • The candidate must be professional and possess excellent communication skills.
  • The candidate must be self-motivated and energetic.
