Project Execution Manager
What's Special About This Job? This is an opportunity to join a startup company that is getting a lot attention (and funding). Currently, the company is on the cusp of rapid expansion - this role will be oriented towards scaling the process on an aggressive schedule with future full-scale commercialization on the horizon. This is a chance to be a part of their growth which comes with tons of professional opportunities to learn and grow. What they need: In the immediate term, this person will support engineering, R&D and operations teams in building out a bigger pilot operation on the current site of the existing pilot facility. This will include managing project schedules, project cost, managing vendors and outside engineering (EPC) resources, and contributing from a technical standpoint in fixed and rotating equipment design, layout and plot planning, structural support and mechanical/piping interconnections. Down the road, this person will be involved in a much larger capital undertaking to build this company's first commercial-scale facility. This is an individual contributor role at this point which will grow as the company continues to grow. Location: The plant site is located in the Western suburbs of Chicago - reasonable cost-of-living and lots of amenities in the area. This area is close to the Fox River which boasts miles and miles of walking/running/cycling trails. The Big City is about 45 minutes' drive or an hour train ride. Two major International airports in the area (O'Hare and Midway).
