Title : Manual Machinist
Location : Itasca, IL
Hire Type : Contract to Hire (6 months)
Shift : 1st shift M-F
Compensation :

Must have Skill Set : Manual Mill experience needed
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Manual Machinist with strong Bridgeport mill experience to join our team. This is a hands-on role focused strictly on manual machining — no CNC work. If you take pride in precision, craftsmanship, and working directly from prints, this is a great opportunity.
Job Duties:
Operate Bridgeport manual mills to machine precision parts
Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
Set up, machine, and inspect parts to print specifications
Perform measurements using standard inspection tools
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
Proven experience operating Bridgeport mills (required)
Strong ability to read and interpret prints
Experience machining parts manually (no CNC)
Ability to hold tight tolerances
Dependable and able to work overtime
