Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and collaborative Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school district in Glendale Heights, IL. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact while supporting students with diverse learning and behavioral needs in a structured educational environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide differentiated instruction and academic support
- Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
Qualifications
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- LBS1 endorsement required
- Previous special education experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
- Passion for supporting student success and growth
