WE ARE LOOKING FOR FULL-TIME HELP!

Up to $23.00 AN HOUR

12 PTO DAYS PER YEAR

SUMMARY: Maintains warehouse area with orderly stacking and good housekeeping; ensure all shipments are correctly staged, checked, and loaded properly; perform duties to provide material handling services for warehouse shipping and receiving handling activities. Ensure that Material Handlers are operating power equipment and all other equipment safely at all times following all safety policies and procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Transfers materials from warehouse to ordering department and/or relocates materials within the warehouse.

· Resolves and answers customer service related issues.

· Audits each shipment prior to packing to ensure that goods match order.

· Required to use hand truck, forklift, cherry picker and other power or material handling equipment.

· Accepts incoming shipments upon arrival at dock.

· Verifies merchandise shipments received against purchase orders, packing slips, etc.

· Checks order for completeness and possible damage.

· Logs shipments, completes and forwards paperwork in a timely manner, as assigned.

· Inspects all incoming freight for damage; follows-up with purchasing to resolve any damaged freight issues.

· Assists in maintaining material inventory levels.

· Processes orders for delivery.

· Assists in maintaining safety and housekeeping standards in shipping area.

· Loads and delivers merchandise to department or other designated location.

· Prepares, packs and ships all outgoing merchandise (including returns) according to department procedures.

· Maintains general order and cleanliness of area, as assigned.

· Creates Bills of Lading for each carrier.

• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Must be able to lift or move up to 100lbs.

MUST HAVE FORKLIFT TRAINING

Must be available Monday-Friday

Current shift: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM

• Lockport, IL 60441: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Warehouse experience: 3 years (Preferred)
