Line Cook
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Position Summary:
The Line Cook / Prep Cook is responsible for daily food preparation and execution of menu items in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role supports the culinary team in maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, cleanliness, and food safety across all service periods. We are a team that values professionalism, consistency, and a positive, respectful kitchen culture.

Line Cook/Prep Cook Job Responsibilities:
- Daily food preparation, storage and restocking
- Cook food items according to cooking methods: sauté, grill, broil, poach, fry etc.
- Practice food sanitation and safety
- Clean and sanitize area as needed
Line Cook/Prep Cook Qualifications/Skills:
- Two to three years’ experience as a Club cook or restaurant cook preferred but not necessary.
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Accuracy and speed in executing tasks
- Ability to work as a team member in a high paced environment
- Follow directions and instructions set by the chef or sous chef
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- One to two years of experience as a Club line cook or restaurant cook

Schedule:
- AM/PM Shift
- 5 days/week
- 40hrs/week plus more on busy weeks or holidays
- Weekends and holidays
Job Duties:
- Prepare all foods practicing sanitation and safety guidelines and food production codes
- Follow recipes
- Operate standard kitchen equipment
- Cleanliness and organization skills
- Be able to lift at least 50lbs
