Position: Maintenance Planner – New Fully Automated Plant Start-Up
Salary: Up to $90K + 3 bonuses per year and full benefits

As we prepare to launch a brand-new, cutting-edge, fully automated high-speed facility in Belvidere, we are hiring a Maintenance Planner.

This newly constructed, state-of-the-art plant will feature the latest innovations in automation, robotics, and systems integration. To prepare you for launch, we offer comprehensive, fully paid training at our operational centers across the U.S., including all travel expenses and a generous per diem.

Training follows a 10/4 schedule : 8 workdays, 2 travel days, and 4 days off at home. Travel days are fully paid. Travel will continue until April.

What We’re Looking Fo r

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Planner
• Background in manufacturing or production environments
• Strong proficiency in computer applications, including maintenance planning systems (CMMS)
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, electrical symbols, and electrical measurement techniques
• Solid foundation in mechanical maintenance principles and repair planning
• Willingness to travel within the U.S. for a few weeks of fully paid training before being fully based in Belvidere

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and optimize maintenance schedules for all plant equipment and activities to ensure maximum uptime and reliability
• Plan, prioritize, and coordinate maintenance activities with production teams to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency
• Coordinate maintenance planning with on-site teams and centralized support functions
• Create, manage, and maintain accurate work orders, including shift schedules, part assignments, and documentation of completed work
• Prepare and organize technical documentation for maintenance activities, including drawings, procedures, and technical specifications
• Monitor maintenance team performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and prepare regular reports for management
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify training needs and coordinate development programs for maintenance personnel
• Provide leadership, coaching, and ongoing support to the maintenance team, including performance feedback and recognition
• Support the development and implementation of reliability strategies aimed at reducing downtime and enhancing equipment performance
• Work closely with the Spare Parts Coordinator to ensure the availability of required spare parts and tools, providing backup support as needed
• Estimate labor requirements and material costs for planned maintenance activities
