Director of Strategic Initiatives
Director of Strategic Initiatives Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning : Developing strategic vision, conducting market analysis, and creating detailed strategic plans.
- Project Management : Leading the execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring projects stay on time and within budget, and tracking benefits.
- Cross-Functional Leadership : Leading and motivating diverse teams, fostering collaboration, and communicating effectively with executives, including respectfully challenging leadership with thoughtful insights.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, delivering compelling presentations, and acting as a strategic partner to the executive team.
- Analytics and Performance Measurement : Conducting advanced data analysis, utilizing data visualization, establishing KPIs, and performing post-implementation reviews.
- Change Management : Developing strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Strategy, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly preferred.
- 8+ years in strategic planning, business transformation, or project management, preferably in a leadership capacity, with experience in large-scale change initiatives across various business functions (e.g., HR, Legal, Technology, Payroll, Finance).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams. Proficiency in project management tools is also essential.
- Certifications (Preferred) : Lean Six Sigma methodologies; PMP Certification is a plus.
