Who we are looking for:

The Junior Accountant will play a key role in managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, financial reporting, maintaining accurate bookkeeping records, and supporting month-end close processes within the full-service digital and print marketing space. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in NetSuite and will demonstrate advanced Microsoft Excel skills. This position is perfect for a detail-oriented individual looking to grow their accounting career in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What you will be doing:

• Process and record vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper coding to the general ledger.
• Research and resolve vendor inquiries and/or discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare and process payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
• Review and process T&E expense reimbursements.

• Manage full-cycle A/R collections, including sending reminder emails and collaborating with the sales team to coordinate collection efforts.
• Conduct bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and/or other reconciliations to ensure proper documentation for all transactions.
• Prepare and process pre-bills by matching job tickets and work orders.
• Enter and apply customer payments/credits (ACH, checks, wires) in accounting systems.
• Prepare internal financial reports, assist with ad hoc projects, and financial statement support compilation as required by management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including recording daily transactions in the GL.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for month-end reporting.
• Greet and assist office visitors and field inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal teams.
• Ensure all financial processes comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements in areas of responsibility.
• Work closely with other finance team members to support overall financial operations.

Who you are:

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on accounts payable, bookkeeping, and month-end close.
• Proficiency in financial systems such as Monarch, Great Plains, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Security Clearance: Amsive is a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
