Manager, Medical Staff Affairs
Overview
The Manager of Medical Staff Services is responsible for the management and direct oversight of all aspects of the day-to-day activities of the Medical Staff Services department.Qualifications Certifications:

- Proven ability to make decisions and lead others with the ability to think conceptually and strategically.
- Organize and analyze problem-solving processes especially when provider's credentials of either current or former providers does not meet established criteria.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects concurrently and assess priorities.
- Able to create, organize, and implement new initiatives.
- Functions in the leadership role and demonstrates initiative as appropriate.
- Models' teamwork with Carle physician leadership, and administrative colleagues.
- Performs highly complex and varied tasks requiring independent knowledge, its application to a variety of situations, as well as exercise of independent judgment.
- Financial: Ability to manage budgets
- Manages and oversees the Medical Staff Office on a daily basis.
- Ensures departments are managed in accordance with financial objectives including development and managerial oversight of the budget.
- Ensures that the Medical Staff Services and develop
- Maintain an ongoing quality management program and stays current with respect to changes in accordance with regulatory requirements (DNV, CMS, NCQA, etc.).
- Ensures Medical Staff Services, as well as regional sites have a stable operating platform from which to deliver effective and efficient services.
- Supervises staff and complies with the responsibilities as required by The Carle Experience including rounding, performance evaluations, etc.
