Radiology Technologist - Travel Position in Peoria, IL
Join our team as a Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Peoria, IL. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare setting, assisting physicians with specialized radiologic procedures and enhancing patient care in the Electrophysiology unit.
Job Details
- Location: Peoria, IL - A vibrant city known for its rich history and cultural attractions.
- Start Date: August 11, 2025
- End Date: November 10, 2025
- Shift: 10-hour days
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $3000 - $3080
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
- Completion of 2 years training at an approved school of radiologic technology
- Valid IEMA licensure in Radiology and ARRT registration
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Assist physicians with arteriograms and other specialized radiologic procedures
- Prepare examination areas and position patients for procedures
- Operate complex radiology equipment according to established techniques
- Provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served
- Pass materials and take exposures as directed by physicians
