Production Assistant

Redo Cabinets by Krumwiede Home Pros is a family-owned and operated company located in Wood Dale, IL. We are currently seeking a full-time Production Assistant to join our team.

The Production Assistant will be responsible for assisting the production manager with daily tasks and projects. This position is responsible for precise data entry and assisting in the daily operation of the production department, ensuring that all contracts are fulfilled in a timely manner, and working closely with the production manager to coordinate projects. The Production Assistant will also assist in general office duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Exceptional problem solving skills.
  • Extremely detailed oriented and accurate with data entry.
  • Customer service and thorough communication with the customers is extremely important for this role.
  • Need to communicate with the Sales Admin daily for smooth handoffs of contracts between departments.
  • Add all new contracts into the appropiate spreadsheets and CRM, keep spreadsheets updated as it moves along the production process.
  • Keep direct correspondence with the accounting department.
  • Revise the sales commission sheets as needed.
  • Schedule installations with the customer.
  • Answer incoming calls.
  • Handle service requests and scheduling.
  • Follow up with customers after installations.
  • Assist with collecting payments.
  • Must have great computer skills and up to date knowledge of technology.
  • Must be proficient in excel or google sheets.
  • Must be able to type accurately and proficiently.
  • Must be able to self correct.

Experience: Production/operations experience required. Must be able to follow instructions, work independently, be self-motivated, have a high attention to detail, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities demands. Use Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel), and use basic math skills (addition and subtraction) required.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
