an is responsible for the daily care, cleaning, and monitoring of pets staying at our boarding and daycare facility. This role ensures the health, safety, and comfort of all pets while maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Feed and provide fresh water to dogs according to individual instructions
· Clean and disinfect kennels, play areas, and common spaces
· Monitor dogs for signs of illness, stress, or injury and report concerns to management
· Administer medications as directed (if trained)
· Supervise group or individual play sessions
· Bathe dogs as needed
· Maintain accurate feeding, medication, and behavior records
· Greet customers and assist with check-in and check-out as needed
· Follow all safety and sanitation protocols
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred
· Experience working with dogs or in animal care preferred
· Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
· Comfortable working in a physically active environment (standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs)
· Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends and holidays
· Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
Work Environment
· Fast-paced kennel environment
· Exposure to cleaning chemicals, noise, and pet dander
· Indoor and outdoor work required
