Project Manager

Farnsworth Group is seeking an OSP Project Manager in one of the posting locations below. Qualified candidates will work with our Energy & Utility Group as a part of the Telecommunications Team in the planning, drafting, design, permitting and construction administration of telecommunications and utility projects.

Posting Locations for this role: Lisle, IL; Frisco, TX; or St. Louis, MO

What You'll Do:

* Manage client relationships and projects

* Support development of proposals - including project scope, schedule and budget

* Complete design and posting of telecommunications projects

* Review projects for accuracy, quality, and adherence to client specifications

* Plan and oversee work production to meet project deadlines and budgets

* Oversee work completed by technical and professional production staff

* Provide direction and support for permit plans and work prints drafted in AutoCAD, Microstation, Bluebeam, etc.

* Provide office support for site visits and participate in site visits which may include overnight travel

What You'll Need:

* Minimum of 4 years of OSP design experience

* Experience in all aspects of Legal Mandate, IFP, Fiber Overbuild, FTTH, or LightGIG projects - including field data gathering, design and permitting

* Positive work ethic and excellent communication skills

* Ability to effectively manage time while working on several projects concurrently whether in the office or field/remotely

Nice To Haves:

* Supervisory experience in OSP engineering design or construction

* Experience in surveying or utility locating

* Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation

* Bachelor's or Associate degree a plus

* Degree in Engineering or related field a plus

Salary Range: $85,000 - $120,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
