Bartender

We are hiring bartenders with 2+ years of upscale dining and/or steakhouse experience. The ideal bartender will be a trusted, detail-oriented individual on the service team whom our guests rely on for genuine hospitality and stellar service.

You will need to possess: Bassett certification and an Ansi certified and/or Serv Safe Food Handler’s certification.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Properly mix alcoholic beverages according to recipes and prudent portion control.

· Ring all food and beverage items with 100% accuracy to ensure proper flow of service.

· Follow steps of service to provide a quality guest dining experience.

· Directly work with support staff to maintain operating par standards for glassware, garnishes, china, silver.

· Inspect glassware, silver, china, and other bar items for cleanliness and appearance.

· Issue receipts, accept payments, verify charges, and record charges in order to balance drawer.

· Assist in cleaning, polishing and stocking glassware throughout the service.

· Resolve complaints in regards to guest experience in positive and professional manner.

· Positive team player with the ability to get larger tasks completed.

· Follow health and safety procedures.

· Work well in a team atmosphere and independently.

· Self-motivated and friendly, able to work with a diverse team of people.

· Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested e.g., special guest requests.

· Must adhere to All State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests to ensure all laws are being followed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Lift and move up to 10 pounds

· Safely and effectively use all necessary tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals

· Stand and walk for an entire shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant which may include stairs, uneven, and/or slick surfaces

· Ability to bear exposure to hot and cold environments
