Synergy HomeCare of Edwardsville is seeking caregivers to join our team and provide quality in-home, non-medical care for our clients. Whether you're an experienced caregiver or new to the field, we welcome you to join us in making a difference in the lives of families throughout the Madison County, IL community, including Edwardsville, Alton & East Alton, Bethalto, Glen Carbon, Holiday Shores, Pontoon Beach, Roxana & South Roxana, Gard, Godfrey, Hartford, Granite City, Maryville, Moro, Meadowbrook, Midway, Rosewood Heights, Wood River and Troy.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of clients in their home environment.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and Synergy HomeCare staff.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient and positive demeanor.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to schedules and care plans.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Previous caregiving experience is a plus but not required we offer training for the right candidates.
