Job Title: Lab Technician
Location: South Holland, IL (Onsite)
Shift: First Shift
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr. (W2)
Job Summary
We are seeking a Lab Technician to support laboratory testing and documentation activities. The ideal candidate will have basic laboratory knowledge, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow standard testing procedures in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory testing using prescribed test methods.
- Accurately document test results and maintain electronic lab notebooks/project folders in accordance with ISO standards.
- Set up, adjust, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure testing schedules are maintained.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all safety and security guidelines.
- Manage assigned tasks and timelines under moderate supervision.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment, coatings, and computer applications.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work effectively in a team environment.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
