Job Description

Operate a stand-up forklift or reach truck to move corrugated products, pick items from double deep racks, and utilize cherry picking techniques. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, cycle counting, verifying inventory, and ensuring timely and accurate product deliveries. Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment, weigh materials, record production data, and signal workers to manage materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up forklift or reach truck for moving and picking products.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently.
• Conduct cycle counting and verify inventory accuracy.
• Ensure product load accuracy and complete timely deliveries.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance including cleaning, lubricating, and fueling.
• Weigh materials or products and record production data.
• Signal workers for material discharge, dumping, or leveling.

• 3+ years' experience with stand-up forklift.
• Experience with reach truck operation.
• Proficient in picking orders and material handling.
• Experience in cycle counting and inventory management.

• Verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Team player.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control.
• Minimum 6 months experience driving stand-up forklift.

Work Environment

Work in a brand new, well-lit, and very clean facility. Steel toe shoes are required. The position is for the 2nd shift, from 3:30 pm to 11:00 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lockport, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.25 - $20.25/hr.
