The LCSW works closely with program staff, community partners, healthcare providers, educational institutions, and child welfare agencies to ensure residents receive comprehensive, person-centered care. The CWEL certification supports collaboration with Illinois child welfare agencies and direct service to youth involved in the child welfare system.

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with agency, state, and federal requirements.
  • Assist residents in accessing housing, education, employment, healthcare, financial assistance, and other community resources.
  • Provide consultation and guidance to residential staff regarding resident behavior, trauma-informed care, and de-escalation techniques.
  • Educate residents on healthy relationships, independent living skills, self-advocacy, and personal wellness.
  • Participate in after-hours crisis response as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing, accreditation, Medicaid, HIPAA, and child welfare regulations.
  • Maintain professional licensure and complete all required continuing education.
Qualifications

  • Experience working with trauma, abuse, neglect, family systems, and behavioral health disorders.

  • Strong crisis intervention, assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Valid Illinois driver's license and reliable transportation.
