Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support elementary school students in Aurora, IL. This position covers a maternity leave with a strong possibility of extension through the full school year, providing consistent service to meet students developmental and functional needs in a school setting.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to students to enhance their participation in educational activities.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement effective therapy plans.
• Conduct assessments to identify student needs and progress.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student goals, interventions, and outcomes.
• Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment and classroom modifications.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with valid state licensure.
• Experience working with pediatric populations in school environments preferred.
• Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and special education regulations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to develop creative, student-centered treatment plans.
• Reliable and dedicated to supporting students' educational success.
