AWS API Gateway Engineer
Job Title: Lead Integration Engineer Location: San Francisco CA / Los Angeles CA / Salt Lake City UT / Seattle WA (Hybrid) Role Type: W2 Contract Length of Contract: Long Term Job Summary: We are seeking a Lead Integration Engineer to design, develop, and support complex integration solutions in a cloud-based environment. This role involves hands-on development, middleware integration, AWS services, and API-driven architectures within Agile teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions using messaging and API technologies
- Provide production support and troubleshoot complex integration issues
- Implement infrastructure and automation using Terraform (IaC)
- Work with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, EC2, and storage
- Develop solutions using Node.js, Python, or Java with JSON/XML
- Create monitoring dashboards, logs, and alerts
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience with IBM ACE, WebSphere MQ, MFT
- Strong AWS cloud integration experience
- Messaging middleware and API development expertise
- Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
- CI/CD exposure (GitLab, Jenkins preferred)
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Security experience (IAM, Kerberos, encryption)
- DevSecOps practices
