General Handyman & Unit Turnover Specialist (1099 Independent Contractor)

About the Partnership: BTS Properties is a fast-growing property management company in the Peoria area. We are looking to partner with skilled, dependable independent contractors, handymen, and small crews to handle our routine work orders and residential unit turnovers.

What You Will Do:

• Unit Turnovers: Getting vacant units rent-ready quickly. This typically includes interior painting, drywall patching, flooring installation (LVP), and general cleaning/hardware swaps.
• Routine Maintenance: Fulfilling basic work orders like fixing leaky faucets, replacing light fixtures, repairing doors, and basic troubleshooting.
• Communication: Providing quick, fair bids for larger jobs and submitting before and after photos of completed work so we can get you paid quickly.

What We Require:

• Must operate as an independent business (1099 Contractor).
• Must carry active General Liability Insurance and Workers’ Compensation (if you have employees).
• Must have your own tools and reliable transportation.
• A smartphone to receive work orders, communicate with our team, and take photos of your work.
• A high standard of quality and respect for our residents' homes.
