Job Description

As a Security Officer Dispatch Associate in Burr Ridge IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional supporting a dynamic utilities location where you will monitor activity coordinate communications document incidents and help respond to security-related needs in real this fast-paced role you will remain a visible and dependable presence while delivering strong customer service. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures dispatch protocols and/or emergency response communication activities at a utilities location.
• Monitor alarms radio traffic phone calls and/or electronic systems and relay information to the appropriate personnel in a calm problem-solving manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations by coordinating communications documenting details and/or assisting with the dispatch of personnel to support security-related operations.
• Maintain accurate logs reports and incident records including calls for service access activity and/or unusual conditions observed during the shift.
• Conduct regular and random patrol support functions through remote monitoring of cameras access control and perimeter activity while reporting concerns to help support site policies and operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
