Timothy O'Toole's Pub Gurnee seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to help lead our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the culinary arts, ensuring that both staff and guests thrive in a welcoming environment. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing daily operations, staff training, and maintaining high standards of food production and service.

Duties

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and quality service.
• Manage staff recruitment, including interviewing potential candidates and onboarding new hires.
• Develop and implement training programs for staff to enhance skills in food production and customer service.
• Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and team-building activities.
• Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure menu items are prepared to standard and presented attractively.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner to enhance guest satisfaction.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in casual dining environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with restaurant management software, particularly Toast or similar systems is advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
