Registered Nurse - Full time, Nights - Mercy Jefferson

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Position Details: Experienced Nurse Sign On Bonus $10,000 Medical A RN 36 hours per week, Days Mercy Hospital Jefferson Festus, MO 63028 * Candidates with 1 or more years of experience preferred*
The Medical A floor at Mercy Jefferson is a fast-paced 30-bed unit that cares for patients of all ages. Many of the patients are chronically ill and require multidiscipline treatment plans and goals. As part of the health care team, you will help educate patients on a wide variety of topics ranging from procedural/surgical expectations to what medications patients will be taking once discharged. Potential health care workers who are compassionate, team-orientated, hard-working, flexible, enjoy caring for people from all walks of life, will find working on this unit very rewarding while expanding their clinical knowledge base and enhancing their skills.
Qualifications:
Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certifications:

- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
