Middle School Science & STEM Teacher Position Opening for the 2026-2027 School Year
St. Teresa Catholic School is seeking a dedicated, faith-filled, and energetic Middle School Science Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about fostering academic excellence while nurturing the spiritual growth of our students.
Primary Responsibilities
- Teach middle school Science in alignment with Illinois and diocesan standards
- Design and implement engaging, standards-based lesson plans
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Foster a structured, respectful, and faith-centered classroom environment
- Assess student growth and maintain accurate academic records
- Communicate professionally and consistently with parents and administration
- Actively support the mission and values of Catholic education
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Valid Illinois teaching certification preferred
- Prior middle school teaching experience strongly preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and classroom management skills
Compensation
- Starting Salary Range: $30,000-$48,000 (Final salary based on experience, skills, and education).
