Machine Operator – Contract
A reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator is needed for a 5-month contract in Chicago, IL. This role is essential to daily production operations of a client company and is well suited for individuals who are mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and take pride in producing quality work.
Contract Length: 5 Months
Location: Chicago, IL
Key Responsibilities
Operate production or packaging machinery in a safe and efficient manner
Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as needed to meet quality standards
Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications
Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations
Complete production records, logs, and shift reports accurately
Follow all workplace safety policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Qualifications
Previous experience operating manufacturing or production equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
Safety-minded with a good understanding of machine operation standards
Dependable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment
